This event aims to present the ongoing situation and options for technological modernisation from a political, academic and industrial standpoint. Representatives of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture and the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, along with Russian and international associations and the government-owned financial institutions Rosagroleasing and Rosselkhosbank, will bring you up to date on the latest developments and technical advances in Russia’s agricultural sector. Yet another topical issue is the "Development of Seed Breeding in the Russian Federation". Under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, there is to be a presentation of the ongoing programme targeting the promotion of seed breeding in Russia. Here representatives of Russian seed breeders will outline the ongoing seed breeding situation and look ahead to the development prospects for grain, sugar-beet, oil and fibre plants, potatoes, maize as well as fruit and vegetables.
On top of this, numerous forums and round tables will examine the economic and organisational aspects of plant production with resource-saving cultivation methods and look at the use of precision farming in Russia.
